6:00 - 7:30 pm: Nell Peel Wolfe Lecture Series

Hear Tracy Crow, former Marine Corps officer, editor of It’s My Country Too: Women’s Military Stories from the American Revolution to Afghanistan, author of Eyes Right: Confessions from a Woman Marine and three other books, and President/CEO of the community arts foundation Milspeak, which supports the creative endeavors of military service members, veterans, and their families. Barnes & Noble will offer her books for sale in the Hogarth Student Center and at the event, and she will sign books following her lecture in Parkinson Hall. Presented by the Ina E. 11:30 am - 1:30 pm: Golden Girls Alumni Lunch  *ticketed event

Everyone is invited to attend this lunch honoring the Class of 1969. (Tickets for Class of 1969 members are free of charge. All others: $15 per person) Pope Banquet Room, Hogarth Dining Center

 

2:00 pm: Campus Tour Led by Admissions

Eugenia “Genie” Talbott: Travel to places with artist, Eugenia “Genie” Talbott Adderson, ’69, which are familiar and close to home, in the frozen Canadian Arctic, in the wilds of the West, and those in between.

Documentary Film Scenes and Backstories: Myra Williams Ottewell, ’69, sets the stage for how she produced her documentary, Mississippi ReMixed: A fresh look at race relations in the Deep South, a film that has been shown numerous times on Mississippi Public Broadcasting and nationwide on Public Television.

W Archives Presentation: Derek Webb will provide a scenic tour through The W’s history with images from the Beulah Culbertson Archives and Special Collections. (Free) Gunter Room, Fant Library

 

4:00 - 5:30 pm: Art Exhibitions and Welcome Home Reception

6:00 pm: Long Blue Line Auction and Welcome Dinner *ticketed event

Join fellow alumni, friends, parents, and fans for a pre-game tailgate lunch! Stay and support our Owls Softball team as they take on Agnes Scott at 1:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.  Your ticket includes a snack from Project C.H.E.W.  Also, there will fun tailgate games provided by Campus Recreation.
