Keyunda Mayze
Help Students Realize Their Dreams with Your Gift to The W Fund

Meet Keyunda Mayze, a nursing major in the Class of 2026.

Keyunda says, "Growing up in a family of nurses and medical professionals, I knew I wanted a career dedicated to helping others. The W’s reputation for having the best nursing program in the state is what drew me here, and my experience has been nothing short of incredible. I’ve formed lifelong friendships through organizations like the Student Alumni Association, Active Minds, and my social clubs, Silhouettes and BlackList. The W has provided me with countless opportunities, and I am deeply grateful for the scholarships that have made it all possible. My scholarship is more than financial support; it is also a personal achievement. Scholarships not only ease financial burdens for students but also inspire a sense of pride and confidence as we pursue our dreams."

By supporting The W Fund, you provide scholarships, academic and extracurricular program resources, facilities enhancements, and so much more for students like Keyunda.

Make a gift in support of our students and the many learning opportunities available at The W.

Increase Your Impact with an IRA Qualified Charitable Distribution

For alumni and friends age 70 1⁄2 and older, an IRA qualified charitable distribution (QCD) is a tax-smart way to support The W.

If you are required to make annual withdrawals from your IRA, you may direct your financial institution to transfer these funds directly to the MUW Foundation. A QCD can satisfy your annual required minimum distribution and offer savings on taxes that otherwise would be paid on IRA distributions.
